Ghosts ‘N Goblins Resurrection Enters the Demon Realm on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam | COGconnected

Welcome to the New Demon Realm

Some things are inevitable: death, taxes, and modern reboots of classic properties, to name a few. Fortunately, Ghosts ‘N Goblins Resurrection appears to be a solid reboot of the decades-old franchise, so we can all celebrate this modern reboot making its way to PS4, Xbox One, and Steam. Filled with massively updated storybook-style visuals, lots of cartoony action, and some surprisingly grisly ghouls, this return to the legendary series may yet breathe new life into old bones. Players take on the role of the brave Arthur and battle their way through armies of ghosts, monsters, and demons and advance through whimsical levels designed like horror theme park locations. The result is a fun but punishing jaunt through a ghastly medieval underworld, as this launch trailer demonstrates.

For new players, Ghosts ‘N Goblins Resurrection offers a variety of features and modes that will make this adventure a bit easier, including three different difficulties–Squire, Knight, and Legend–and a special Page mode that grants you unlimited lives. The game also features the mystical Umbral Tree which Arthur can use to learn and upgrade magical spells and skills, allowing players to carve out a unique playstyle for themselves. If you feel like having a real adventure, there’s also the option to team up in a two-player local co-op mode, with player two taking on the role of one of three characters assisting Arthur in his quest.

As of today, Ghosts ‘N Goblins Resurrection is now available on multiple platforms. Now is your chance to explore the demon realm, battle the titular ghosts and goblins–many of which are inspired by Japanese mythology–and save the princess from the Demon Lord. This blast from the past promises to be a skull-rattling good time.

Ghosts ‘N Goblins Resurrection is now available on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
